Thursday Thirst
Scraping the bottom of the barrel creatively is tough. I’m sure it happens to everyone, I just dislike it most when it happens to me. This week, in particular, I’ve been having a tough time overcoming the drought. I guess I’m looking for an oasis. Not the band though… because if I found them, I’d probably just end up in the middle of an argument.
So I’m turning to you, dear audience… how do recharge your batteries? Tips? Suggestions? Thanks. I appreciate it in advance.
Sometimes when I find I am “scraping the bottom of the barrel”, I just discover that the barrel makes a very nice stool to sit on and simply reflect a while. After all, artificially installed deadlines are sometimes agents of artifical frustration. Chill.

mkhulu has found a wonderful contemporary paraphrase for “be still and know that I am God” – been reading the Message?
I agree – but one thought would be a change of pace – say a trip to a foreign country in the far north

In the past, taking a trip to Kensington Market, or anywhere with good people watching has generated new avenues of thought.
Love ya,
