Have you ever noticed how one person being completely, totally enthusiastic about something can infect a whole group of people? I mean, one person… one person who’s really into it, who throws themselves behind an idea, who believes in it with their whole heart, and who loves it… that person can change the way a whole city of people feels about it.

Some of us like your Canadian roots. We are so isolated and clanish here that if it weren’t for Canada our family would all be cousins. This way we still are all cousins but, more distant. We even liked hockey already, but since you helped me to see the puck w/o the lazer thingy you purists all hate so much, I enjoy it even more. I even hate the Red Wings almost as much as Pitt and VPI. Nothing better than good old unreasonable fan perspective, eh?
