i love to smell my baby's breath. it's so deliciously sweet that i want to go and live inside his mouth! but alas, the more teeth he gets, the closer he gets to having "person breath" as opposed to baby's breath. sigh....but not in your face.

I was given a grab bag of odds and sods a few years ago, and opened a jar and it was wonderfully reminiscent and so I had my sisters close their eyes and put the jar in front of their nose, and everyone said the same thing - Gramma N! - It was a jar of Noxema skin cream, which she was disciplined in using.

I'm sure there are lots more.

I had a lovely smell experience just this morning. Having a longish day and late evening, I came downstairs later than usual. Right away I deduced there was "something afoot in the wind." There near the bottom of the stairs was Tug, our faithful K9 family member who has lately been allowed a kitchen pillow because of the cold. He smiled and looked sheepishly guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. I recognized the odor of- well a doggy deposit. None could be seen so I allowed him to escape to the outside. After all it wasn't his fault I overslept much aware that he cannot open doors, particularly locked ones. To shorten this missive a bit, I eventually found the offending material- lots of it. Realizing his guest status, Tug had made it into the guest bath and delivered much more dog stuff than one would image an animal of his capacity might attain to. So now I am enjoying a warmed over cup of Tim Hortons and breathing the sweet aroma of Armorall Carpet stain remover. Great morning thus far.
