Lemonade
I tripped into this 40 minute long documentary the other day called Lemonade. The economy these past few years has been tough across the board, but certain sectors have felt extra pain. Advertising agencies have definitely felt the hit. In Lemonade, Erik Proulx creates a great film about what happens when people don’t ask, “Where’s my next job?” but instead ask “What is my calling?”
You can learn more about it at http://www.lemonademovie.com . You can also watch it for free at Hulu. This movie was good for my heart… it’s encouraging to see that the universal desire for “more, better,” which is so often the cause of problems, can translate into people doing good things (even people who are not of my particular worldview). When life throws you a curve ball, you don’t have to throw your hands up and despair. You can reinvent. It’s a neat little documentary. My apologies to my friends in Canada, for whom Hulu does not work.
Andrew Thank you for sharing this. I posted about the film on facebook as well as sharing it with myself and loved ones that I believe will be encouraged….it might seem strange(or funny)to a young feller like yourself but I often send myself emails to remind me of something…… .when y’all get to be my age you might understand….Thanks Again Kiddo!!!(if necessary please subtract exclamation marks and other punctuation……………….HEEHEE…XO
